A building in Glasgow collapsed during demolition, crushing a van but thankfully no injuries were reported. Emergency services quickly responded to the scene.
Fire crews rushed to Hydepark Street just before 3 PM. The building at 138 Hydepark Street was in the middle of demolition when parts fell off. It was quite a sight!
Shocking videos showed the aftermath. A van was damaged, but the good news is that everyone was safe. The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service confirmed no injuries.
After the collapse, Hydepark Street was closed off. Workers in high-visibility gear were seen checking the area. A black BMW parked nearby was covered in dust, and its windscreen was smashed.
Right now, they’re still figuring out what caused the collapse. A spokesperson from the fire service said they sent a team to ensure everything was safe.
