Cumbernauld: Five people are in trouble after a police raid. It happened in Kilsyth, North Lanarkshire. The cops found cannabis and over £30,000 in cash.

On January 17, community officers executed search warrants at several addresses. They recovered cannabis worth about £1,300 and cash totaling £30,870.

The suspects include a 42-year-old woman, a 37-year-old man, a 35-year-old woman, a 30-year-old man, and a 24-year-old woman. They face charges related to drug offenses and the Proceeds of Crime Act.

A police spokesperson mentioned that reports will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal soon. They also encourage anyone with drug-related concerns to call the police at 101.
