A hillwalker fell while hiking Stac Pollaidh and was rescued by the Dundonnell Mountain Rescue Team, ensuring their safe return.
Ullapool: A hillwalker had a bit of a scare on Stac Pollaidh. They took a tumble while hiking and needed some help getting down. Thankfully, the Dundonnell Mountain Rescue Team was on it.
The rescue team got the call and quickly mobilized. They carried all their gear up to where the walker was. Once there, they assessed the situation and treated the person before getting them on a stretcher.
After the rescue, the walker was taken to Raigmore Hospital for further care. The team wished them a speedy recovery. It’s great to see such dedicated volunteers ready to help in emergencies.
