A tragic incident in Paisley has left a young man dead, prompting police to arrest a teenager as investigations continue.
Paisley: A 21-year-old man has died after a disturbance. It happened on Saturday afternoon on Maree Road. Emergency services rushed to the scene around 4:15 PM. Sadly, the man was found seriously injured and pronounced dead right there.
The area was locked down, and a blue tent was set up around some homes. Locals were shocked. One resident mentioned seeing tons of police cars and ambulances. Another said they had never seen so many emergency vehicles before.
Detective Inspector Euan McMillan shared that the death is unexplained, and the man’s family has been informed. A 19-year-old has been arrested in connection with the assault.
Police are still investigating but assured the public there’s no wider threat. Officers will stay in the Foxbar area for further inquiries. Anyone with concerns can approach them.
