A large fire broke out at a garage in Aberdeen, prompting emergency crews to respond quickly and manage the situation.
Police confirmed the fire is in a vehicle repair garage. Fire crews are on-site, tackling the flames. They’ve closed Merkland Road East and two nearby streets. They’re asking everyone to steer clear of the area.
You can see flames and thick black smoke rising into the sky. It’s visible from all over the city. The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service sent six fire engines to handle the situation.
Police Scotland is also there, keeping things safe. They posted on social media, urging people to avoid the area and use different routes. King Street is still open, though.
