A large fire on the 12th floor of a tower block in Aberdeen has left seven people injured, with emergency services working hard to control the situation
Emergency services rushed to Aulton Court around 8 PM. They got reports of a blaze in the building. The fire started in the landing area on the 12th floor. Everyone had to evacuate.
Police, ambulances, and firefighters are on the scene. Seven people are now in the care of the Scottish Ambulance Service.
Right now, it’s unclear what caused the fire. A spokesperson from the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said they were alerted just before 8 PM.
They sent five fire engines to tackle the blaze. Firefighters are focused on the communal area on the 12th floor.
