North Wales: Storm Éowyn is on its way, and it’s no joke. The Met Office is warning us about winds hitting up to 90mph. That’s some serious gusts!
They say we should expect “widespread disruption.” Power cuts and travel issues are likely. Plus, there’s a chance of damage to buildings and homes.
Watch out for flying debris! It could cause injuries, and large waves might crash onto coastal roads and properties. A yellow wind warning started today at 7am.
On Friday, an amber warning kicks in for all of North Wales at 6am and lasts until 9pm. Northern Ireland and parts of Scotland even have a rare red warning. Yikes!
