Hawkinge: A nine-month-old baby girl named Arabella is on the mend after a scary dog attack. Her family shared that she was put into an induced coma to help her recover.
The incident happened in their living room when the family dog, an XL Bully named Hunter, suddenly attacked her. Arabella was rushed to the hospital by air ambulance and spent three weeks in intensive care.
Fortunately, she didn’t need surgery, and now she’s back home. Her grandad mentioned how brave both Arabella and her mom have been through this tough time.
Sadly, the dog was seized by police and later euthanized. Authorities had previously warned about Hunter after another incident involving a different child.
An 18-year-old man and a 76-year-old woman were arrested for having a dog that was dangerously out of control. This whole situation has raised a lot of questions about dog safety and ownership responsibilities.
