A woman in her 60s was hospitalized after a car crashed into a pharmacy in Inverness, prompting a swift response from emergency services.
They got the call around 2:20 PM on Wednesday. Ambulance crews arrived fast, and the woman, in her 60s, was taken to Raigmore Hospital. Thankfully, no one else was hurt.
Photos from the scene showed the car inside the shop, which was quite alarming. Police have cordoned off the area and are looking into what happened.
A spokesperson from Police Scotland confirmed the details. They said they received the report at 2:20 PM and sent help right away. The driver was taken to the hospital just to be safe.

The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service was alerted shortly after. They sent two fire engines to ensure everything was safe after the crash.
