Wrexham: This morning, James McClean, a player for Wrexham AFC, was in a car crash. An eyewitness saw him at the scene on Holt Road, close to Wrexham Golf Club.
A spokesperson for Wrexham AFC confirmed the accident happened while he was heading to training. They mentioned it was a single-car incident, with no other vehicles involved. Local authorities arrived quickly to help.
The player reported back to the club and will have some medical checks just to be safe. North Wales Police said they got a call about the crash just before 9 am.
